It’s not a movie for everybody, but definitely a movie for most people who have a good sense of humor and who like jokes. The Hangover hit $45 million in its opening weekend box office and is still continuing its success in cinemas all over the world. The movie is jaw-dropping fun from the start to finish and the characters featured in the movie could not have been better. Oh, and did I mention the movie was shot in Las Vegas and endless number of casino scenes and a very ‘strategic’ game of blackjack as well to top it up? Well it does contain the characteristics of a gambling movie so why not!

The other unique thrill about this film is the element of suspense and mystery presented as our funniest foursome Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Justin Bartha) take down Las Vegas and the endless mishaps that occur during the visit. The four set out on a road trip to celebrate their bachelor’s party in Las Vegas. They end up very drunk with the worst hangover that has completely erased their memory of what the previous night…and end up losing the to-be-married buddy, Doug.

The following day all three groomsmen try to figure out what happened the night before, when all they remember is sneaking up to the room to take down a few shots before they start on their wild night. The three groomsmen go through a couple of adventures, embarrassing places, weird people and the Chinese gangster they need to pay back $80,000 who has apparently kidnapped their friend Doug. This is where the movie show Alan, Stu and Phil master the game of blackjack in order to win $80,000 for their friends rescue. Alan uses his knowledge of blackjack card counting to win the money.
