7-7 vs 2, 3, and 7 (7-7 vs 7: potentially save $0.25 of your bet)
8-8 vs 8, 9, 10, and A (8-8 vs 10: potentially save $0.05 of your bet)
9-9 vs 9 (potentially save $0.09 of your bet)

Blackjack offensive splits can make you a favorite:
2-2 vs 4 and 5
3-3 vs 4, 5, and 6
6-6 vs 5 and 6
7-7 vs 4, 5, and 6
8-8 vs 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 (8-8 vs 6: potentially save $0.48 of your bet)
A-A vs 9, 10, and A.

Blackjack pros don’t play games with small bankrolls, so not splitting in games is okay by them.
But splitting can change the fortune of those with smaller budgets and keep them longer in the game.
